LYDIA JONES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, have been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, October 19.
Jones led Trinity to a season-opening win over Centenary on October 11, highlighted by her individual win with a time of 54.86 seconds in the 100 freestyle.
The Tigers won 121-58 over the Ladies, and Jones also had a hand in three relay events. She led off the winning 200 freestyle relay for Trinity, as well as anchoring the 200 medley relay that lost only to a fellow Tiger relay team.
Trinity will be back in action this week, hosting UT-Permian Basin on Saturday, October 25. It will mark the team's home opener for the 2014-15 season.
