FRANCHESCA LOZOYA OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a sophomore goalkeeper from Lubbock, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 6th. 

Lozoya was outstanding in goal to help the ‘Roos go 2-0 last week.

Lozoya earned two clean sheets in victories over Schreiner and Texas Lutheran while making nine total saves, including six in a big win over TLU to move Austin College into a tie for fourth place in the SCAC Standings.
