NEW ORLEANS, La. - A total of 125 institutions represent
32 conferences that compose the 2010 All-Academic Cross Country
teams. The MIAC and NESCAC led all conferences with nine members
earning All-Academic honors and was followed by the SCAC which had
eight listed.
Rhodes College led the way among SCAC cross country
squads with a team GPA of 3.37. Centre College closely
followed with a 3.36 team GPA.
Sewanee-The University of the South is next at 3.27, followed by
DePauw University at 3.26, Southwestern University at 3.24, Trinity
University at 3.23, Colorado College with a team GPA of 3.21 and
Hendrix College at 3.13.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team
must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or better and have
compiled a score (finished at least five runners) at their
respective NCAA regional championship.
