MARQUIS BROWN OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Refugio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Track Athlete-of-the-Week for meets through Sunday, April 5th.
Brown once again improved upon his times in both the 200 and 400 meters. His time of 21.72 in the 200 tops the SCAC conference and is #6 on the NCAA D-3 list. In the 400, he leads the SCAC by more than 2 seconds and is tied for #11 in NCAA D-3. Both are PRs for him and new school records.
