YURI RIBEIRO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior midfielder from Salvador, Brazil has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 8 through Sunday, October 14.
Ribeiro scored multiple goals in both games
last weekend, leading the Tiger men’s soccer team to a pair
of SCAC victories.
Ribeiro had two goals in each game over the weekend, which were the fourth and fifth multi-goal games of the season for the junior. He scored the first two goals in Friday’s win over Austin College, then scored the second and third goals against Centenary on Sunday.
For the season, Ribeiro leads Trinity with 12 goals and seven assists, compiling 29 total points. He has netted two game-winning goals.
