BEN SHAPLEIGH OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior defender from El Paso, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 20 through Sunday, September 26.

Shapleigh anchored the defensive effort that did not allow a goal during 1-0 victories over Millsaps College and Birmingham-Southern College, and held CC’s opponents to a combined 16 total shots and seven shots on goal. The two shutouts were the fourth and fifth of the season and the Tigers lowered their goals-against average to 0.95.
