NATE PEARSON
OF COLORADO COLLEGE a senior defender from Belmont,
Mass., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 15 through
Sunday, April 21.
Pearson anchored the Colorado College defense
that allowed just six shots on goal during Friday’s 31-2
victory at Centenary College. It marked the eighth time this season
and the fifth contest in a row that CC has held an opponent to
fewer than five goals.
The Tigers lowered their overall goals-against average to 5.95
and their conference GAA to 2.60. Colorado College entered the week
ranked ninth nationally in man-down defense (.860), 12th in scoring
defense (6.29) and 18th in scoring defense (6.79).
Pearson also set a career high with four goals, which surpassed his career total entering the game.
