REGAN MCLAUGHLIN OF RHODES COLLEGE, a sophomore defender from Fairfax, Va., has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Thursday, September 1 through Sunday, September 4.

McLaughlin was integral to the Lynx success this weekend on both ends of the ball.  She played all four defensive positions as well as center mid in the two shutout victories and scored her first collegiate goal on a corner play against Kenyon.  The Lynx rely on McLaughlin's speed and strength on the ball in the backfield as well as her distribution skills on the offensive end.
