DWAYNE SNIDER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior right handed pitcher from New Caney, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 31st through Sunday, April 6th.

Snider stretched his scoreless innings streak 22 1/3 innings with a nine-inning shutout Friday against Centenary (La.). 
In the first-ever night game at TLU's Katt-Isbel Field, Snider took a no-hitter into the fifth and finished the game by working out of a two-out, bases-loaded jam in the ninth. 

Snider struck out seven, walked two and only allowing six hits in improving to 5-1 and lowering his ERA to an SCAC-best 1.07. The win propelled TLU to taking control of second place in the SCAC following a sweep o fthe Gents.
