KEVIN CLEMENTS
OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior infielder from
Pacific Grove, Calif., has been named the SCAC Offensive Baseball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, April 8 through Sunday,
April 14.
Clements led Trinity to a 3-0 week that included
a two-game SCAC series sweep of the University of Dallas over the
weekend.
Clements paced the Tiger offense with a .583 batting average (7-12) for the week, scoring two runs and driving in four more. He was 3-4 with two RBI and a run scored in both games against Dallas this weekend, helping the Tigers to secure the #2 seed in the SCAC Tournament.
For the season, Clements is hitting .282
(33-117) with 16 runs scored, and is tied for second on the team
with 26 RBI.
