WES PERKINS OF
MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a 6-1, 195-pound first-year
right-hander from Geismar, La., has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 5 through
Sunday, April 11.
Perkins tossed six innings in picking up a win
against Southwestern during the week. He scattered just one hit in
his six innings while yielding just one earned run (1.50 ERA) and
struck out eight batters on the week.
