MICHAEL VARGAS OF UNIVERSITY OF THE OZARKS, a junior from Pasadena, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 24 to Sunday, January 30. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 10)
Vargas won both the 5- and 6-dive sets on the one meter board, as his dives helped secure a narrow team victory over McMurry University and Williams Baptist University on Saturday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Garrett Guillet of Trinity won the one meter dive for the first time in his career with a score of 278.65 at the Southwestern dual this weekend.
