SPENCER STEWARD OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Kearney, Mo., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Monday, December 16th to Sunday, December 22nd.
Steward had a banner meet opening up with one of his best 50 breast splits on the medley relay of 25.6. Later he took third in the 100 breast with a quick time of 57.23. He went on to a great race in the 200 breast where he went stroke for stroke with A&Ms breast stroker just touching second with a new school and conference open record of 2:02.78.
