ALLISON BARKER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Bethesda, Md., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 13 through Sunday, April 19. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 8
Barker finished 20th in the ‘Open B’ section of the 1,500-meters at the Bryan Clay Invite, crossing the line with a personal best time of 4:31.31. Barker’s time is the fastest in the SCAC and currently the 18th-fastest time across all of Division III.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior Madelyn DeLosSantos of LeTourneau posted a personal record time of 1:14.70 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Dan Veach Invitational. The mark was the sixth-best in the SCAC this season, and the top mark for LeTourneau on the year.
