HAYLEY DONNELLY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior attack from Pearland, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 11th through Sunday, March 17th.
Donnelly continued to spark the Pirates offense last week racking up 10 goals and four assists to lead Southwestern to a 1-1 record, including a win over Cornell College. In the win, Donnelly registered a game-high eight points on six goals and two assists. Donnelly has now scored 16 goals in her last three games and sits second in the league with 32 total goals.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior attack Allie Thuet of Colorado College amassed six goals and four assists while leading the Tigers to a pair of victories last week, including a key West Region win over Illinois Wesleyan University on Friday. Senior attack Lexi Leite of Dallas led the Crusaders with eight goals despite a pair of losses last week to Cornell College and Hendrix.
