SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Tiger men's soccer team was eliminated from the NCAA Playoffs with a 2-0 loss to 13th-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CA) Colleges on Sunday.

Trinity was limited to just two shots in each half of Sunday's game, including only one shot on goal that came in the second half.

The Tiger defense limited Claremont to just four shots in the opening period as well, and the two teams entered halftime locked in a scoreless tie.

Both teams had early on-target shots in the second half, but the game remained scoreless until the 79th minute. Claremont scored on a header with less than 12 minutes left to take the 1-0 lead, then scored an insurance goal on a free kick less than four minutes later.

Trinity fell to 12-7-2 with the loss, while Claremont improved to 15-4-2 and will advance to the NCAA Sectionals.

Andrea Codispoti notched two of the four Tiger shots in the game.
