Around the SCAC - September 16

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --  Week three of the 2019-20 fall season spanned from Monday, September 9th to Sunday September 15th.

Men's Cross Country
Eight out of the 10 SCAC men's cross country teams were in action last week, highlighted by Austin College winning the UT Dallas Invitational.

Women's Cross Country
Eight out of the 10 SCAC women's cross country teams were in action last week, led by sophomore Anna Wilgenbusch of Dallas taking home the top individual honor at the UT Dallas Invitiational. 

Men's Golf
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golf fall season continued last week as Texas Lutheran, Schreiner and Dallas competed at the Rockwind Links Intercollegiate, hosted by McMurry University at the par-72, 7,103-yard Rockwinds Links G.C. in Hobbs, New Mexico. 

Women's Golf
Four of the league’s eight women’s golf teams were in action last week as Southwestern, Schreiner, Texas Lutheran and Dallas all competed at the at the Rockwind Links Intercollegiate, hosted by McMurry University, highlighted by both an SCAC team victory and individual medalist honor. 

Men's Soccer
Men’s soccer action continued last week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with eleven games on the schedule, highlighted by a handful of designated non-conference fixtures among SCAC squads. 

Women's Soccer
Centenary and Southwestern remained unbeaten following another excited week of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer as designated non-conference games continued among SCAC squads.

Volleyball 
Week three of the 2019 season saw nine teams in action, highlighted by St. Thomas and Centenary squaring off for the first conference match of the season.
