Ginger Haley, Trinity University, Women's Volleyball

GINGER HALEY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior middle blocker from Arlington, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 5 through Sunday, October 11.

Haley put forth an impressive performance over the weekend, leading the Trinity Tigers to four SCAC wins at Hendrix College.

Haley finished the four-match weekend with a red-hot .554 hitting percentage, committing just four errors in 74 total attacks.  She tallied 45 kills over the weekend, averaging 3.21 kills/set.  Haley also recorded 15 blocks in the four matches, averaging 1.07 blocks/set for the weekend. 

To open the tournament against hosting Hendrix, Haley finished with a team-best 15 kills to go with six blocks, and a .750 hitting percentage (zero errors).  That percentage is tied for the sixth-highest total for a single match in Trinity history.  She also hit better than .400 in each of the four Tiger wins this weekend.
