Softball Recap (Week 4) - Around the SCAC
SUWANEE, Ga. - Balls were flying out of the ballparks this past week as five different SCAC players had two home run weeks - led by the league's offensive Player-of-the-Week, Jennifer McKinley of Millsaps College, who had four round-trippers on the week including three in one game against 10th-ranked Mississippi College.

Softball Recap (Week 3) - Around the SCAC
SUWANEE, Ga. - Birmingham-Southern kicked off the SCAC Softball schedule with a road sweep over Sewanee on the road. Jenna Franks led the Panthers with 18 RBIs and four home runs. Defending conference champion DePauw University got its season underway opening up 3-1 on the year.

Softball Recap (Week 2) - Around the SCAC
SUWANEE, Ga. - Weather was a factor over the weekend with a number of SCAC tilts postponed or canceled. Birmingham-Southern remained perfect on the season after defeating Huntingdon twice over the weekend and Berry once. The Panthers will open up conference play this weekend against Sewanee.

Softball Recap - Around the SCAC (Week 1)
SUWANEE, Ga. - Six of the league's 11 softball teams have taken the diamond and the 2010 SCAC season is officially underway. Of the six, Birmingham-Southern College is the only team to navigate its way to an undefeated mark as the Panthers are currently 3-0. Meanwhile, Austin College's 4-2 start is the best for the Roos since softball was brought back as a varsity sport four years ago.

DePauw tabbed as favorite to win SCAC Softball Championship
SUWANEE, Ga. Based on voting by the head coaches of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), DePauw University is the clear team to beat in the race for the 2010 conference softball title.

Rhodes Softball to "Hit for the Cure"
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - This Saturday, Rhodes College softball will hold its second annual "Hit for the Cure" play day, which will benefit the Stephanie Vasofsky Cervical Cancer Foundation and is designed to raise awareness for cervical cancer on campus and in the community.
