Jackson Brainerd, Colorado College, Men's Cross Country


JACKSON BRAINERD OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Littleton, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, September 19.

Brainerd won the collegiate individual title at The Colorado College Invitational on Saturday, September 19, with a 25:54 for the 8k while leading his team to the team title among collegiate teams (five teams ran, 54 participants). This is now the fastest collegiate time for a 8k run at this meet. It also now places him among the "Top 8k times" in the SCAC for this year.
