Trinity brings the SCAC Presidents Trophy back to San Antonio
SUWANEE, Ga. - The symbol of conference supremacy is a 300-pound railroad bell that is awarded annually to the conference program with the best overall sports record for that particular academic year. For a stretch of 12 years - from the early 1990s to the mid 2000s - that bell (with the exception of one year - 2000-01) resided on the campus of Trinity University.

Oglethorpe Falls 3-0 in Opening Round of NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament
TYLER, Texas - Oglethorpe's historic 2011 season came to an end on Thursday night in Tyler, Texas as host the University of Texas at Tyler topped the Petrels 3-0 in the first round of the NCAA's. The Patriots netted two first half goals, the second with only 22 seconds remaining in the half, to establish the margin they needed en route to the win.

SUWANEE, Ga. - The 2011 SCAC Men's Soccer Tournament hosted by Birmingham-Southern is set to begin Friday as the fourth-seeded Panthers of BSC will take on Centre at 5pm CST. The winner of that game will meet the top overall seed Trinity on Saturday. SUWANEE, Ga. - Junior midfielder Josh Settle posted a hat trick for Centre as the Colonels picked up a 4-0 win over Austin College in Komen Game V this past Friday. The Komen series started in 2007 between the two teams to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation and has now raised over $32,000 in the five years.

SUWANEE, Ga. - In the final weekend before conference play gets underway, the SCAC picked up three wins over nationally ranked teams. Trinity and Southwestern both knocked off 13th ranked Chapman while senior Aaron Walker of Oglethorpe slotted a free kick side netting in overtime to defeat 21st ranked Maryville on the road.
