Ryan Berra, DePauw University, Men's Golf

RYAN BERRA OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a junior from St. Louis, Mo., has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, April 5.

Berra won the Rose Hulman Invitational at Hulman Links, site of the 1997 DIII National Championships. Berra fired a two day total 156 (81-75), winning by two shots over the field of 10 teams, 72 players total.  The conditions were sustained winds of 30 mph with gust both days in excess of 50+ mph.  It was the second individual title of Berra's career.
