MICHAEL GALATAS OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a 5-10, 175-pound junior wide receiver/kick returner from Lacombe La., has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, September 19.

Galatas averaged 40.6 yards-per-kick return on three returns and had a 92-yard return for a score (third longest in school history) as Millsaps topped Austin College 31-30 on the road. Galatas also had a 64-yard punt return for a score called back on a penalty, the third time in his career that has happened. On the year, Galatas is averaging a career-best 29.6 yards-per-kick return in nine attempts.
