SHANE BOWSER
OF MILLSAPS COLLEGE has been selected the SCAC
Football Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday,
September 19.
Bowser, a 5-10 200 pound sophomore running back
from Christian, Miss. had a career-best 263 all-purpose yards in a
come-from-behind win at Austin College on Saturday, rushing for 90
yards on 15 carries (6.0 avg), hauling in three passes for 56 yards
and a score and returning two kickoffs for 117 yards (58.5 avg).
Bowser's 50-yard TD reception late in the fourth quarter brought it
to a 2-point game, making way for teammate Taylor Russolino to kick
the game-winner with 2:07 left.
