Garrett Biel, Trinity University, Football (Special Teams)

GARRETT BIEL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a 5-8, 164-pound first-year kicker from Clayton, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, September 12.

In just his second collegiate game, Biel tied a school record with three field goals in a 22-21 win at Texas Lutheran. His last field goal from 34-yards out sailed through the uprights as time expired giving the Tigers the win. Biel also connected on a 28-yarder as the first half ended. He also hit from 25-yards in the first quarter.
