KALEB KIRK OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a junior pitcher from Nacogdoches, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played through Monday, March 13th. It is the second consecutive week, and the third time this season, that Kirk has earned the honor.
Kirk improved his record to 4-1 on the year with a stellar outing in Centenary's run-ruled, 12-0 win against Austin College on Friday night. The right-hander had 13 strikeouts in 6.2 innings, the most by a SCAC pitcher in a game since Taylor Henry two years ago. Six-of-seven outs to begin the game came via the strikeout.
Kirk only allowed two hits and three walks, with only one Austin College player getting as close as 90-feet from home.

Killingsworth struck out nine and did not issue a walk. He allowed just one earned run in the 3-1 road victory. Senior right-hander Dylan McGee of Trinity pitched the Tigers to a series-opening win at Southwestern on Friday night, helping Trinity to a 2-1 weekend to open SCAC play. McGee threw 6.1 innings without allowing an earned run, striking out seven batters, and yielding just two hits and a walk.
