Kaleb Kirk, Centenary College, Co-Pitcher of the Week (Week 5)

KALEB KIRK OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a junior pitcher from Nacogdoches, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Co-Pitcher of the Week for games played  through Sunday March 5th. 

Kirk went five scoreless innings in the Gents' 19-2 win over Northland College.

Kirk allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out five, despite a long break as the Gents' recorded 17 runs in the third innings.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Dylan Drgac of Texas Lutheran University
went 5.0 scoreless innnings in relief during the Bulldogs 8-4 win over MIT. Senior Jacob Kendra of Southwestern University was 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in three relief appearances last week, allowing just one run in 4.0 innings of work. Sophomore Holden Nix of Trinity University pitched in two of the Tigers' four games, going 6.1 innings and striking out 11 while giving up just three earned runs.
