KALEB KIRK OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a junior right-handed pitcher from Nacogdoches, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday February 12th.
Kirk threw eight scoreless innings, giving up just four hits against East Texas Baptist's high-powered offense Friday night.
Kirk struck out a career-best 10 batters and allowed no walks in the game. No Tigers advanced past second base with Kirk on the mound.

Freshman pitcher Conrad Voss of the University of Dallas made his second collegiate start and earned his first win in a 6-3 defeat of Hardin-Simmons where Voss allowed just one earned run. Junior pitcher Clint Johns of Texas Lutheran University recorded a 3-2 win over UT-Dallas, giving up just one run in 5.0 innings of work. Senior pitcher Kevin Flores of Trinity University recorded a win over Maryville Saturday, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out five.
