The Schreiner University men's basketball team won the 2018 SCAC Men's Basketball Championship over the weekend, defeating Centenary College in the title game. The Mountaineers will now prepare to face Whitman College in the NCAA first round.
Trinity University clinched its third straight SCAC Women's Basketball Championship with a win over Southwestern University in the title game last week. The Tigers will head to north Texas to face UT-Dallas in the NCAA first round.
