LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The 2017-18 season kicked off last week, with all of the fall teams competing.
Collectively, SCAC teams went 34-27-1 on the week, while seven teams remain unbeaten through their first round of contests.

Men's Cross Country
All seven of the league's men's cross country teams were in action this past week with Southwestern and Trinity picking up wins in their initial races of the season.
Women's Cross Country
All seven SCAC women's cross country teams opened their 2017 campaigns with races over the weekend. The Southwestern and Trinity women won duals which saw TU's Laura Taylor set a new personal 5K mark of 18:25.6 at the Alamo City Opener.
All eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer teams kicked off the 2017 season this past weekend, posting a cumulative record of 11-3-1. This marks the best start to a season in recent years for the SCAC, as five teams remain undefeated.
